Patron members are commercial entities, whether persons, firms or companies, that have an interest in, or concern about IPC. They are designated as either Supporting Members or Strategic Partners, depending on the level of sponsorship and interaction with the Federation. Patron Members shall be entitled to receive all material published by IFIC, participate in the Annual General Meeting and attend conferences. They are not entitled to nominate trustees to the Board, vote or hold office.
Why become a Patron Member?
Enjoy Global Access and Impact
IFIC has the very unique, niche position of being a true world wide entity. This aligns with companies that have a global perspective and who recognize the need for regional variation and flexibility in different markets. All Patron Members are given strong exposure to the IFIC membership through the website, newsletter and yearly congresses or symposia.
Show evidence of dedication to IPC issues
Global customers gain better understanding of the Patron members’ commitment to issues pertaining to infection prevention and control. Collaboration with IFIC validates a sincere interest to help improve control of healthcare infections, especially in low resource or developing countries.
Gain an opportunity to better clinical practice
Strategic Partners have the possibility to collaborate with IPC experts on the IFIC Board of Trustees and jointly improve practice and care. They also have priority choice of exhibition space and industry symposia. Strategic Partners are partnered with an IFIC Board member, are invited to yearly meetings with the Board and as such have access to expert advice & gatekeeping opportunities as well as being given first notice of IFIC New Project developments.
