SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME
The Tenth Congress of the International Federation of Infection Control (IFIC) congress will run from Thursday 8 October 2009 until Sunday 11 October 2009.

OFFICIAL LANGUAGE
The official language of the congress is English (no simultaneous translation will be
available).
DRESS CODE
The dress code for the conference is casual and lounge suit for the welcome reception and gala dinner.
INSURANCE
The organisers accept no liability for personal injuries sustained or for loss of or damage to property belonging to participants, incurred either during or as a result of the Conference. Delegates are advised to take out their own travel insurance policies.
EXHIBITION
A commercial exhibition will be organised in conjunction with the Conference. The exhibition areas are directly integrated into the conference hall and the break-out rooms. Arrangements for mounting and manning of exhibits may be made for those parties who need assistance. Interested parties are kindly requested to make early reservations with the Congress Organiser.
INVITATION LETTER
The organisers will be pleased to send a letter of invitation to any person requesting one. It is understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential delegates in raising funds or in obtaining a visa. The letter of invitation is not a commitment on the part of the Conference to provide any financial support. Invitation letters may be requested from the Organising Committee.
INTERNET CORNER
Internet facilities will be available for congress participants within the exhibition areas.
REGISTRATION
Delegates may pick up their congress packs and any vouchers at the registration desk. The Registration Desk will be open during the following hours:
