Dr. Emese Szilagyi

Emese graduated in 1988. She worked as an anesthesiologyst and intensive care doctor by 2001.

She has been working in the field of infection prevention and control since 2001 at the National Center for Epidemiology, Budapest. She is member of the Hungarian national nosocomial infection surveillance coordinating group and she is involved in the development of national recommendations and guidelines regarding infection prevention and control.

Emese has been a member of the Hungarian Association for Infection Control Professionals since 2002 and president since 2007.
