Carol Goldman

Carol Goldman has been working in the field of infection prevention and control since 1978.  She is a past president of CHICA, and has represented CHICA on many committees including the Ministry of Health of Ontario, Public Health Branch on the Advisory Committee on Communicable Diseases and The Global Consensus Conference on Infection Control Issues Related to Antimicrobial Resistance Advisory Committee. As well, she was a member of the task force which developed the 1999 APIC/CHICA Professional and Practice Standards.

Presently she is a member of the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care Regional Infection Control Network Working Group. She is the co-author of many publications including the College of Physician’s and Surgeons “College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario” She has a strong interest and experience in education.
